Profile:

One of my biggest joys in life is to create a wonderful meal for someone to savour. Cooking is my passion! From the time I was five years old, you would find me in our Nova Scotian kitchen cooking up a storm.

I grew up and began cooking for all my friends in our ski chalet. There were rave reviews and our chalet became the ‘place’ to be on Saturday night. I then decided it was time to get some knowledge behind my desires and went off and studied at the Cordon Bleu of Cookery in London, England.

Since that time, I have owned and operated a seafood restaurant in Nova Scotia; have catered for parties, big and small, over a span of ten years in Vancouver; have taught numerous cooking classes and have entertained abundantly at our home.

I became a Professional Personal Chef in March of 2004 and am a member in good standing with the United States Personal Chef Association.

As a Personal Chef, I focus on health, nutrition, freshness and GOOD taste. I work with my clients in creating the best and most delicious menus for them – no preservatives, no chemicals, but lots of flavour.
